Serving during the coronavirus crisis

Times of crisis are rich times of opportunity for God's people to serve others. We can serve one another and we can serve our community as we learn of needs. As we give ourselves away in service, we exhibit God's love and kindness to those in need and we pray for opportunities to speak of the good news of Jesus.

Below are serving opportunities that we have learned about in our community. We will keep this page updated with new and current opportunities for the duration of this coronavirus crisis.

Blood Drive

With the stress of COVID-19 on our medical system, blood supplies are critically low. Stafford Crossing is excited to host a 2 day blood drive on June 10 & 11 to help increase the supply of this life saving resource. The good people at Red Cross will ensure that all proper safety and sanitation practices are followed.

Help provide meals for families in need from our local schools. Volunteers will provide assistance at the office and the storefront where meals are distributed.

Protective Equipment

Are you able to sew? Help make reusable masks for the healthcare providers who are taking care of patients in our local hospital. Once you have completed your masks, follow the directions on their website for delivery to the hospitals.

Help a Neighbor

This is a helpful way to reach out to your neighbors and let them know you are there to help them in this time of crisis. Print the document, fill in your information, and stick it in their door or mailbox. Let them know you care.
