"We got credible info that "very bad people" are on their way to this village. They'll be arriving in the next day or two. We hope to get out of dodge by tomorrow morning. But also be praying for the people as they are coming to recruit children for their cause."

Courtney Bailey:
- Jack and I are asking for prayers for a family who was involved in a devastating accident on I-95 this past Sunday. We witnessed the crash and stopped to help. Jack assisted a family of four whose vehicle took the brunt of the impact. Their 3-year-old son, Cal, was critically injured. Jack was the one who carefully removed Cal from the vehicle in his car seat and stayed with him until the paramedics arrived. It was evident that this precious little boy had suffered severe injuries, including what appeared to be a fractured skull, broken legs, and bleeding from his ears. His mother was also injured, though we do not know the extent of her injuries. By God's grace, the father and Cal's 6-year-old brother, Beckett, sustained only minor injuries. Cal's condition has weighed heavily on our hearts, especially because we have no way of knowing how he is doing. The image of this innocent child has stayed with us, and we continue to pray earnestly for his healing and for strength, comfort, and peace for his entire family during this incredibly difficult time. If you would please join us in praying for Cal and his family, we would be deeply grateful. They need every prayer they can receive.

Diana Stevens
- Please pray for Waylon Pates. He is having open heart surgery this morning at Children's Hospital. This little guy has spent most of his life at Children's and hopefully this surgery will give him a much better life. UPDATE: Waylon is safely off of bypass and being monitored in the OR. The surgeon is very impressed with everything he did today. His live tissue from his partial transplant is looking great and still growing with him. They also have Waylon coming up with no trach in with hopes of not ever putting it back in because he decided to pull it out and it wouldn’t go back in 🙂Crazy boy. Prayers as these next coming days of recovery can be very bumpy with many ups and downs. The Pate family thanks everyone for their prayers and continued support of prayer for the coming days and weeks.
