2024 Mission Offering
It is a tragic fact that slavery still exists in every country in the world today. This breaks the heart of God and we are called to fight this great evil. Sex trafficking may be the most evil form of slavery and it is heartbreaking that approximately 8 million people are trapped in this slavery in India. Stafford Crossing is resolutely committed to fighting this evil with our partner organization in India, Set Beautiful Free.
Set Beautiful Free (SBF) works towards the prevention of sex trafficking through various campaigns, advocacy initiatives, sustainable opportunities for empowerment and shelter. They do not merely hope to temporarily relieve the suffering of women and children by placing them in a home with no means to empower themselves, but their vision is to help put an end to this form of slavery forever.

The Opportunity
There are currently over 300 girls being rescued as they receive an education at the academy in Madhya Pradesh. Many are bussed from their village to the academy and back every day. The girls that are at the highest risk of being trafficked are able to live in dormitories at the academy. There are currently 50 girls residing in the dormitories but many more need this safety. SBF hopes to be able to offer the safety of the dormitories to 150 girls by the end of 2025.
The Cost
Amazingly, it only costs $1250 to care for, educate, and empower one child for an entire year. This includes nutritious meals and medical care in our aftercare homes as well as a quality education for every child to break the cycle of prostitution. This holistic support gives every girl they care for a restored hope in Jesus Christ.
The Goal
Faced with such a staggering reality, we want to help as many of these girls as possible. For this offering, Stafford Crossing hopes to collect at least $25,000 so that we can sponsor 20 girls with the opportunity to live a life free from sex trafficking.
