In the last part of the Book of John, Jesus knew His time on this earth was coming to a close. He also knew there were things the people needed to hear from Him before He left. If you Google "famous last words" you will see that most people speak words that are a reflection of who they were or what they valued. Jesus spoke words that reflected who He was, but His words also showed His followers how He wanted them to live.
