For: Adults and teens — parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors — anyone who wants to help make God’s Word more accessible to a child.

Looking for a meaningful way to share Scripture with the children in your life? Or a thoughtful gift idea that will last for years to come? The Child Training Bible Workshop is a hands-on event designed to help you equip kids to turn straight to God’s Word for answers, encouragement, and guidance.

What is the Child Training Bible (CTB)?
The Child Training Bible is a practical tool that helps adults guide children directly to the pages of Scripture for instruction in 20 key areas of life.

Built around Colossians 3:9–10, the CTB highlights what it means to “put off” ungodly behavior and “put on” godly character. With color-coded tabs and easy-to-find passages, this Bible helps kids see how God’s Word speaks to everyday situations and choices.

What to Expect at the Workshop
At the CTB Workshop, you’ll:
  • Tab over 200 Scripture references to build your own Child Training Bible
  • Learn how to use this resource for family devotions, discipline moments, and discipleship conversations
  • Leave with a fully prepared Bible ready to use at home or give as a meaningful gift
    • NOTE: If you’re unable to attend the workshop but would like to create a Child Training Bible at home, please register for the workshop and indicate that you will not be attending. You can pick up your materials at Stafford Crossing on Sunday, January 25.

Your $40 registration fee includes everything you need:
  • NIV hardcover Bible
  • Child Training Bible tab set
  • Post-it flags, pens/pencils, colored pencils, and highlighters

Light refreshments will be provided.
