Barnardsville, a small town in western North Carolina, was severely impacted by the heavy rains from Hurricane Helene. In response, Stafford Crossing is teaming up with VerticalLife Church in nearby Newton, NC, to support this community. This partnership will be an ongoing effort, offering multiple opportunities for involvement throughout the year. We will be helping with reconstruction, repairs, meal service, donation sorting, and other tasks that will assist the local church in serving its neighbors.

Several trips are scheduled for 2025, and we invite you to prayerfully consider which trip—or trips—you can support with your time and skills.

These trips are designed for both individuals and families, offering opportunities for everyone to make a meaningful impact.
 
COST: The associated costs include your transportation to the community (we will carpool), and the hotel room. Rooms are about $100/night. Sharing rooms will reduce the cost so we will do our best to balance comfort and cost.
